guys, do you know if i can add a dedicated video card on this machine ? the on board one it's not that powerful :(
since i bought the laptop dell 5040, i have not been able to use a network cable on it, and i need to use a network cable on it urgently, can someone advice me on what to do???????
you probably have a better chance just connecting to a wireless network instead of the network cable. not sure why your network cable dosen't work tho. that's odd.

1.Thespacebar doesn'twork.It requiresmoreeffort than theotherkeys.I'm sorry,but Ineverlearned to touchtypeand Ihaveto lookatmyhands asI type. When Ilook up at mywork, Ihave to go back and insertmostofmy spaces. I've usedmany other laptoppswithout havingthis problem.
2. The firsproblemis made worse because thetouchpad is jumpy. Itisialwaysgrabbingitems and draggingthem around whenIdon't wantit to. Moving thetext cursorand highlightingwhat Iwanttohighlight rather thanwhat itwants to highlight is a pain.Myson also hasused thislaptop andcomplainsabout thesame things.
